Situated just east of Jan Thiel Bay, this site can be reached from the beach at Jan Thiel after a lengthy (20 minute) swim. For non-Olympiads we recommend following the sandy
path running parallel to the access road to the bay, which ends at a small inlet where you can enter the water.

The name, Diver???s Leap, is derived from an unorthodox access method, where divers leap from the rocks into the water below. Fill your BCD about a third of the way, put your
regulator in your mouth, hold onto your mask, hoses, and any loose gear, look straight ahead, and step off.... Or make your instructor proud and simply continue to the right
along the fencing, entering the water in a gradual controlled manner. Beware of several large coral formations close to shore; with heavy waves you can quickly find yourself in
an uncomfortable scenario.

Swimming out to the mooring buoy you???ll cross a sandy plateau interspersed with formations of Brain Coral, Star Coral, and Sea Fans. The buoy is located at the edge of the
drop-off in 30 feet of water. The reef wall is steep, falling rapidly below 140 feet. Keep a close eye on your air supply and depth, and beware of changing currents. Both
directions are teaming with healthy colonies of Gorgonians, Stony Corals, and Sponges. Yellowtail Snappers, Sergeant Majors, Creole Wrasses, and Golden Tail Eels can all be
found here.
